Ghanaian former Black Star player, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has dared Ghanaians that the Black Stars of Ghana will qualify to the next stage of the World Cup 2022 competition with a bet.
In his submission, Agyemang Badu stated that if Ghana doesn’t qualify to the next stage of the tournament, he will shave his hair on live TV.
This is specifically because the former player believes in the Ghanaian squad for the World Cup and what they are capable of doing.
According to him, Ghana will survive the group stage and go to the subsequent round.
The former Udinese star made the startling statement on TV3, when he was joined by former teammates Jerry Akaminko and Shilla Illiasu to discuss the FIFA World Cup at Qatar.
“With set pieces, we are progressing well over time. We are not yet in the air. We now have a sturdy bench. I’m not certain that this squad will lose and lose their chance to advance from the group. If they don’t, I’ll shave off all of my hair on live TV.
I’m willing to wager everything that this squad will advance from the group. I’ll shave it here if Ghana doesn’t advance from the group stage. I have such high hopes for this squad,” he stated.
Ghana, in concluding their preparations for the global tournament won with a 2:0 victory over Switzerland.
During their World Cup Opener, the Black Stars really showed the world a stunning performance against Portugal but unfortunately lost against Cristiano Ronaldo’s side by 3:2.
